This is Aspen, the male Red-bellied Woodpecker that often visits the feeders. I always hear him and his mate Willow calling and singing, and hammering away at the dead tree not far from the feeders. I always enjoy seeing the woodpeckers, they've been around for about 2 years now. Maybe even longer, I've always heard the Red-bellied woodpeckers' warbling calls for quite sometime but never knew at the time what kind of bird it was. I've given a few of the wild birds names, at least the ones that I can tell apart from the others.
